FLock.io is driven by cutting-edge technologies, hence supporting academic research sits at the core of our strategy. We have designed the FLock Fellowship program to support graduate students/researchers in the domains of AI and blockchain as well as providing industrial mentorship and necessary materials to support the research collaboration. The fellowship is awarded based on the candidate’s excellent research background and future potential in Federated Learning and Blockchain.
Who can apply:
- We look to partner with graduate students/researchers in federated/distributed learning, blockchain, high performance computing, and edge computing. We are looking for individuals with a proven record of innovative research in the aforementioned fields, solid understanding of computer systems through coding experience, and ideally a passion for privacy and decentralisation.
- The award will be granted in the form of a studentship stipend and either as one lump sum payment or in instalments at the FLock Fellow committee's sole discretion.
- To be considered, you must have proof of continuous enrolment at your university in current or following academic years. FLock.io cannot guarantee admission to any graduate programs, but the fellowship will be used to support your studies while you are attending.
- Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate strong research capabilities and present a sound research proposal for work related to their graduate degree.
- Winners must submit a 2-to-5-page final report to FLock.io that outlines how this award helped them advance their studies in the field of AI and Blockchain.
